INTRODUCTION

 

EasyMeasure isn’t delivering online sales as a result of faulty web design and inadequate levels of traffic. The challenges can be successfully addressed in three stages in order of priority, namely SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), SEM (Search Engine Marketing) and Visual Optimisation.

EasyMeasure isn’t delivering online sales as a result of faulty web design and inadequate levels of traffic. The challenges can be successfully addressed in three stages in order of priority, namely SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), SEM (Search Engine Marketing) and Visual Optimisation.

OBJECTIVES

To ensure traffic on the website is relevant to EasyMeasure

To ensure that visitors to the website stay engaged for longer

SCOPE OF WORK

Stage 1: SEO

After reviewing the site, it is clear that Search Engine Optimisation is the main reason for low levels of traffic. The SEO plugin on the site reports errors and omissions on most pages.

 

Fixing the SEO on the site will increase traffic by making the site easier for Google and other search engines to understand its content and as a result, will recommend it as a more relevant and higher ranked search result.

Stage 2: SEM

Search Engine Marketing will be implemented to further increase traffic, but more importantly to also target search results to people who are already searching for similar products in cities that EasyMeasure can sell and deliver to.  

 

For EasyMeasure, we recommend Google Search Ads. Google Search Ads are a relatively cost-effective way to reach ideal customers. Search Ads are text-based and show up as a search result for customers who are actively looking for products like yours.

 

Stage 3: Visual Optimisation

Currently, the website’s Bounce Rate is at 40%, this means that 40% of visitors to the site don’t look further than the homepage. This speaks to the visual design of the website. We recommend making the site more engaging by making the site more visually appealing and easier to navigate.
