ROVD Group has an aesthetically appealing CI and functional website. The purpose of the following proposal is to outline how Zion Collective can increase user friendliness, relevant traffic and engagement on


The following objectives will be addressed throughout this project:

The following is a breakdown of how each objective will be achieved.


2.1.1 Increase User Friendliness on


Scrolling time is currently a problem on the website. We'd like to reduce the time a user will need to scroll before finding what they are looking for by optimising layout to reduce white space on the following pages:

  • “Automotive” page 

  • “Wool & Press” page

  • “Contact” page

  • Space around images on "Teams" Page

We also recommend reducing the height of the homepage slider to reduce scrolling time and reduce loading time on the site.


We propose reorganising icons on "Vision and Mission" page into a grid layout and making them into buttons that bring up the corresponding text as a popup instead of taking up more space as icons next to corresponding text. We propose to do the same with the icons on the homepage.


We propose turning the current History Highlights vertical timeline into a slider similar to the "Clients" slider on the homepage. This will reduce scrolling time for the client and give the site a sleek feel. 

2.1.2 Increase Relevant Traffic on
We recommend implementing a once-off SEO Audit on the back end of the website to do the following:

1) Competitor Analysis Report

  • Competitor analysis

  • Keyword rankings

  • Presentation of Report

2) Website SEO Report

  • SEO performance review

  • Error checks

  • Presentation of report


This process will enable us to give meaningful direction into the strategy for monthly SEO, improving the health of the site and the ease with which clients can find the site.

In addition, we recommend using a blog page on the site to show Google and other search engines that new information is regularly added to the site, this will increase the ranking of the site in search results.

2.1.3 Increase Engagement on

We propose to increase engagement by adding a contact form with the following fields on the "Contact" page:

  • Name

  • Surname

  • Email

  • Phone Number

  • Role in Company

  • Industry (Dropdown: Wool & Press, Mining, Automotive, Other)

  • Message Field

We propose to remove redundant non-interactive elements such as the duplicated contact info on the "Contact" page. Conversely, we suggest adding more interactive contact elements in the following other strategic areas:

  • "Teams" page ("Get in touch with this team" buttons)

  • Direct "Call now" link in the universal Header

  • Direct "Call now" link in the universal Footer

  • Direct "Website" link (instead of text only) in the universal Footer

  • Floating WhatsApp button bottom right on all pages

  • Call to action buttons on Homepage Slider

  • Relevant Phone & Email buttons at the bottom of each section on “Facilities” page 

  • Relevant Phone & Email buttons at the bottom of each “Services” page

We propose to improve the "Careers" page by adding a phone number field as well as a dropdown to the form on this page, allowing the user to submit which division (ENG/CNC/USA/RSA) they would like to contact.



We do not recommend making structural changes to the front-end of the site on a monthly basis, as a result, we will only make recommendations  regarding traffic and maintenance in this section.

2.2.1 Increase Relevant traffic on

We recommend a dual strategy for increasing Relevant traffic on using Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM).

For SEO, we recommend the following monthly package:


  • Search Engine Optimisation / 6-8hrs per month

  • Review Google Analytics

  • Review Keyword Reports

  • Review Error reports and technical fixes

  • Check and Optimise Title and Meta tags

  • Check and Build Backlinks

This will improve the ranking, as well as overall health of the site.

For SEM, we recommend running at least 1x Google Search Ad campaign per month so that people searching for ROVD online are not intercepted by ROVD's competitors.
